This match between wrestlers from the Night Cobra Gym, which is a small organization, came about because the gym sealed a deal aligning itself with the huge and popular Entertainment Fighters Organization. Fighting for the first time in a major arena has to be nerve wracking for them. Mont Blar is a villain, and Shark Hawk has the potential to be a star wrestler. Going into the match, I see them sticking to their prescribed roles. That's as far as they can go. Mont Blar is trying to win over the King of Evil, owner of the Entertainment Fighters Organization, but he's not taken seriously. He's treated like an errand boy. |

Mont Blar has Shark Hawk in a head hold, and thrusts him into the corner post where he pins him in. Mont Blar fights full throttle. He's punching and kicking. He lifts Shark Hawk high in the air, and delivers a bodyslam. He then mounts the corner post, and lands a flying body press! At the count of two, Shark Hawk pushes Mont Blar off. |
They move much better than I'd anticipated. I was prepared for a totally dull match. They've got sharp moves and are playing it smart. Not bad at all. They're good. |

Shark Hawk leaps from the top of the corner post, skillfully delivering a moonsault press. Mont Blar pushes Shark Hawk off at the count of two. Shark Hawk throws Mont Blar against the ropes, and punches him as he bounces off. Once again, he slams Mont Blar into the ropes, and swiftly executes a flying knee kick. |
See, Shark Hawk has got the moves. Before he jumps, he quickly checks behind. I'm amazed. It's true that they moved well in my hands that day; but, it's more like they take control, directing my movement, not the other way around. The last few months, these guys trained intensively to prepare themselves for a fight in front of a huge audience. Maybe all that work paid off. Actually, even when they weren't training, I played with them, hoping to develop a good grip. |

Shark Hawk hurls himself against the ropes, but is caught by Poisonger, who shows up out of nowhere to backup Mont Blar. Using all his force, Mont Blar delivers a powerful clothesline attack. The two wrestlers hit the mat together. Mont Blar pins Shark Hawk to the mat. One, two, three! Hey, look at that, Mont Blar and Poisonger are fighting. What's going on here? |
I'm happy. The match was better than I thought it would be. I liked the last part, too, when the wrestlers turned on each other. I'll praise them, when I get home tonight. |
