カミロボファイト!
カミロボファイト一覧

This title match is between the Entertainment Fighters Organization's most popular wrestlers. The Ole, known as a lone wolf, enters the arena alone. Bird Man, a master of Mexican-style air-fighting tricks, springs to a corner post with great agility. As his name is announced, he gracefully removes his robe, revealing the sparkling championship belt around his waist.

The two fighters exchange a firm handshake,
and the fight begins.
From the start, this is a high-caliber fight, marked by suburb technique and fair play.Bird Man fights offensively from the start, pounding The Ole and delivering a bruising brain buster! The Ole drops out of the ring, as Bird Man jumps to a corner post in preparation for a diving attack. Sensing Bird Man's next move, The Ole quickly returns to the ring. In a split second, Bird Man shifts directions and lands in the ring.

In my mind, I can hear the music blaring and see the glare of the bright lights as the fighters enter the ring. The stadium is jam packed all the way up to the third floor. This doesn't paint a total picture of what I imagine. There is so much detail in every fight.

The Ole recovers his balance, and launches an aggressive counterattack.
He delivers a body press, chop after chop, front kick, leg drop, and a brain buster that keeps Bird Man suspended in the air for seconds on end.
The Ole hurls Bird Man toward a corner, where he manages to jump up on the post. He swiftly counters with a moonsault body attack. This lethal attack changes the tide of the match, leaving Bird Man with all the chips and The Ole in a battle for survival.
Bird Man goes for a hurracanrana,
a trick he mastered in Mexico.
It's a move with horrific implications.
Without intending to,
Bird Man rips The Ole's arm off at the shoulder.
What a gruesome sight!
The Ole escapes from the ring.
Showing no mercy or remorse, Bird Man tosses The Ole's arm to the side of the ring, and delivers a low-drop kick from between the ropes.
Bird Man is unrelenting, pounding the injured Ole with a moonsault body press from the top rope.

The Ole must be flipping out when his arm comes off. I also panic, because this is slated as a blockbuster match. That accident could have messed everything up.

Bird Man launches a flying attack, which The Ole narrowly escapes.
The Ole climbs the corner post and delivers a lethal moonsault knee drop!
He pins Bird Man to the mat, and the count begins.
Bird Man hurls The Ole off.
And it's time for Bird Man to call the shots.
He delivers a body attack, and then a body press.

He climbs the corner post.
Anticipating his next move, The Ole grabs Bird Man and gives him a belly-to-back suplex as they slide down the post.
Bird Man is sprawled in the middle of the ring.
Using his one arm like a crutch, The Ole crawls on his knees toward Bird Man, and pins him to the mat.
Count one, two…
At the count of three, Bird Man pushes The Ole off!

Both fighters are under tremendous pressure to win.
It's a title match and they're professionals. They look up at the packed stadium, and feel grateful and obliged to deliver their best. It's got to be a good fight, with lots of highlights.

Using every ounce of remaining strength, The Ole tries a clothesline attack. But Bird Man escapes, and hurls The Ole to the mat. He climbs a corner post, and, yes, he delivers his famous Bird Man press. The Ole, drained of all power, doesn't even attempt to move. One, two, three!
Bird Man retains his belt!

When the bout is over,
several wrestlers enter the ring to praise
The Ole for bravely fighting to the bitter end
with only one arm.
There are two things that can happen when a fighter loses an arm. If the wire that connects the body and arm is broken, the upper body comes apart, including the head. There's no way the fighter can go on, so the match is over. In this case, the arm was ripped from the body without damaging the wire, thus enabling The Ole to continue. As desperate as his situation was, he had to be relieved.

The Ole grasps the microphone, and speaks to the audience.
Bird Man speaks next. They both look like winners, as they hug and praise each other for a match well fought.

They're speaking very passionately, but their words are garbled because of the poor sound system. At this stage, I'm just another member of the audience.

With the help of another wrestler, The Ole leaves the ring.
Bird Man bids him farewell. His assistant pulls the ropes apart, allowing the regal Bird Man to easily pass through, and exit off stage.

The Ole is rushed immediately to Yasui Hospital to undergo surgery to repair his arm.
